Refund policy

Overview

At SunlightWildTrails, we aim to ensure your satisfaction with every purchase. However, if you need to return an item, we offer a 30-day return window. Unfortunately, if more than 30 days have passed since your purchase, we cannot provide a refund or exchange.

What Can Be Returned?

To be eligible for a return, the product must be unused, in its original condition, and in its packaging. Certain items are non-returnable, such as perishable goods like food and flowers, newspapers, magazines, and certain personal care products. Items classified as hazardous or flammable substances cannot be returned.

Exceptions to Returns

Some items are not eligible for return, including:
• Gift cards
• Digital downloads or software
• Specific health and beauty products
To start your return, we need a receipt or proof of purchase. Please do not send items back to the manufacturer directly.

When Partial Refunds Apply

In some circumstances, only a partial refund may be granted, including:
• Books that show obvious signs of wear
• Opened media products (CDs, DVDs, video games, software, etc.)
• Products that are not in their original condition or items with missing parts that are not the result of our error
• Items returned after the 30-day return window has expired

How Refunds Work

Once we receive your returned item, we will inspect it and send you an email to notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. If approved, your refund will be processed and automatically credited back to your original payment method within a few business days.

Haven’t Received Your Refund?

If you haven’t seen your refund hit your account yet, here’s what to do:

  1. Recheck your bank account.
  2. Contact your credit card provider; it may take some time for the refund to officially post.
  3. Get in touch with your bank. Sometimes, processing delays occur.

Sale Items

Please note that only regularly priced items qualify for a refund. Unfortunately, sale items cannot be refunded.

Exchanges

We replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need an exchange for the same item, please email us at info@slwildtrails.com and send the item to 919 3rd Ave, New York, NY, 10022.

If the item you received was marked as a gift when purchased and sent directly to you, you will receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the item is returned and processed, a gift certificate will be mailed to you.
If the gift wasn’t marked as a gift at the time of purchase, or if it was sent to the original buyer who later gave it to you, we will refund the purchase amount to the original buyer.

Please note that return shipping costs are your responsibility and are non-refundable. If your refund is approved, any return shipping costs will be deducted from your refund amount.
The time it takes for your exchanged product to reach you may vary depending on your location. We recommend using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance if you are returning a more expensive item. Without tracking, we cannot guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
